We are just about ready to hit the road

Postby Woody » Mon Mar 10, 2008 1:35 am

Hi, We sold our house, possession date March 14th. had our auction yesterday and it went well. We will be joining the ranks of fulltimers March 14th, staying in a campground close to home to clean up last details until March 18th then hitting the road to visit friends in PA making stops to visit friends along the way. Will to return to Alberta by mid May and make more plans at that time. Right now we are excited and getting our fifth wheel totally set up for fulltime living.
Thanks Peggi and John for your guidance and books, you are so helpful. Of course we are taking our portable Hughes Net dish which we have been using for 2 years that we bought on your recommedation and love it.

Hope you all are having a safe and happy journey wherever you may be! Looking forward to meeting you down the road sometime! :D

Hey GUYS CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Thanks also for the very kind words. John and I are here to help if you need any down the road. This is an eciting time for you but 23 years later everytime we get ready to find a new backyard the same excitement surfaces. We wish you the very best no matter where you travels take you. Many thanks for all of the kind words. Sorry I am late in answering but the time I was spending on seminars and our extensive travel this past week took up mega hours. As a result other things were put out on the back burrner. I am almost back to normal now. Take care and enjoy your new adventure. Travel safe P&J

Thanks for the well wishes! We are in Springfield, OH right now and enjoying visiting friends here and the warmer weather. Nice to be out of the snowbelt for sure. We are leaving here Monday heading to PA to visit another friend for a month or so. Travelling through the cold weather on our way here was a new experience for us, stayed in Motels/hotels for part of this trip but we knew that would the situation when we left so were prepared for that. Sure nice to be in our own little home now staying at nice campground with green grass around!
Hope your travels are going well, are you back in Ontario yet?
Stay safe and take care,
Woody and Patsy
