Hello Peggi,

I just finished reading your article in the last RV Gazette and I found it very interesting.

We are planning to go to the states for 2 months next April and we would like to buy a cellphone that do not cost too much to use in the USA.

Could you send me the article you wrote previously regarding cellphones ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Patricia

Hi Patricia: This is the link to the story. http://www.rvliving.net/HowDoSnowbirdsCallCanada.htm You will find a number of interesting subjects in everything RVing on my main website www.rvliving.net. The second page in offers a lot of specific links - just click Enter to get to page #2. If you want to talk to me feel free to give me a call - send me an email for the number. My # is a USA # but I can call you right back - minutes I use are the same if I call or receive a call. 8)

The new smart phones that require a Data package are super with Verizon while you are in the USA but using the Data package while in Cda is costly due to roaming BUT voice calls work economically with Verizon in both USA/Cda. I love being a Verizon customer but this story covers many other options. Hope this helps - good luck and if you have any problems please get back to me. Till later P&J 8) 8) 8)
